Longmont Pickleball Club Mission Statement

The Longmont Pickleball Club (LPC) will continue to develop and grow the sport of
pickleball in Longmont, Colorado by:

Providing a unified message regarding pickleball concerns and activities to the governing bodies of the City of Longmont and to the community at large. In particular, to advocate for additional pickleball courts in the City of Longmont.
Providing opportunities to play pickleball for players of all skill levels.
Promoting pickleball activities in an atmosphere of safety, friendliness, and fair play within the Longmont community.

The Longmont Pickleball Club will:

Provide a unified message regarding pickleball members’ concerns to Longmont Parks and

Recreation representatives

Incorporate various ways to promote growth and development of Pickleball by

providing clinics and lessons

Communicate information about changes and or improvements within the Pickleball

community

Keep portable nets well maintained and replaced as needed

Locate supporters for fundraisers

Ensure that existing courts are utilized the best way possible

Build a sense of community and collaboration among members by hosting social events

Advocate for additional courts in Longmont

Launch a website to inform members of important information

Listen to members’ concerns and suggestions to help improve the overall Pickleball experience

in Longmont
